• Circumventing platform fees

Intellectual Property Violations

• Infringing on copyrights or trademarks
• Using unauthorized content
• Reverse engineering platform code

Security Violations

• Hacking or attempting to breach security
• Introducing malware or viruses
• Data scraping without permission

5. Transactions & Payments

Pricing

• All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise specified
• Sellers are responsible for accurate pricing information
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors

Fees

• Transaction fees are clearly displayed during checkout
• Seller commissions are deducted from sales proceeds
• All fees are subject to change with 30 days notice

Payment Processing

• We support multiple payment methods including mobile money and bank transfers
• Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
• Funds are held in escrow until transaction completion

6. Dispute Resolution

Step 1: Direct Negotiation

Parties are encouraged to resolve disputes directly through communication on the platform.

Step 2: Platform Mediation

If direct negotiation fails, either party can request platform mediation. Our support team will review the case and propose a resolution.

Step 3: Formal Dispute Process

For unresolved disputes, parties may initiate the formal dispute process. This may involve evidence submission and binding resolution by our dispute resolution team.

7. Intellectual Property

Platform Content

All platform design, text, graphics, logos, and software are owned by GloBiz and protected by intellectual property laws.

User Content

By posting content on the platform, you grant GloBiz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with platform operations.

Trademarks

"GloBiz" and our logos are trademarks of GloBiz Marketplace. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GloBiz shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Disputes between buyers and sellers
• Quality, safety, or legality of listed products
• Actions or omissions of other users
• Service interruptions or platform downtime

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Non-payment of fees
• Platform abuse or harassment of other users

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support. Outstanding financial obligations must be settled before account closure.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
